Although Tom has obtained the freedom he craved,he is an itinerant fugitive. Weeks ago, he had attempted an abortive attemp to escaped from the mammoth labyrinth he was held in spontaneously. He requested to the guard to accommodate him to the ickbay as he was not feeling well. Upon reaching there, before the guard coulld even react, Tom knock him down and made a dash for the entrance. Due to the heavy weather outside, the guards were in a state of panic and could not react well, giving Tom the apportunity to sneak out.
